Korean skincare seems to be all the rage at the moment. This is partly due to the popularity of Korean dramas and pop culture, but also because of the affordability in comparison to their Western counterparts. Despite the lower price tags, Korean skincare also has a reputation for being effective and high quality.
Also, as a person of East Asian descent living in Germany, it’s convenient to have the option to browse a wider range of products that may be more suitable for my skin type or skin needs. For instance, darker skin tones like mine are more prone to hyperpigmentation, therefore Asian skincare brands cater to this demographic.
Having worldwide access to affordable skincare products means you get to try lots of different products without breaking the bank!
For example, here is a breakdown of my latest purchase from YesStyle:
- 2-piece set of silicone lip applicators
- 2 x APLB Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide HA B5 Ampoule Serum (40ml)
- APLB Collagen EGF Peptide Facial Cream (55ml)
- Cos De Baha – PC M. A Peptide Cream (45ml)
- Cos De Baha – AN Arbutin Niacinamide Serum (30ml)
- fillimilli Perfect Powder Brush 880
- Mizon Low pH cleanser – Free sample
Total: $61.26 USD
1. Stylevana
Stylevana sells Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese skincare products. They offer unbelievable discounts on single products, sets and multipacks. This made me quite sceptical at first, but temptation soon took hold and before I knew it I had made my first small purchase.
When the package arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that all the products were original and cost much less than other German online stores for the same products.
Since then, I have made multiple purchases and I’ve never had any issues. Delivery has never taken longer than one and a half weeks from Hong Kong to Germany which I think is reasonable. They even throw in free samples from time to time.

2. YesStyle
Like Stylevana, YesStyle also ships from Hong Kong but takes a little longer. In my experience, between 2 to 3 weeks.
This online store has a wide range of products – not just skincare. Their clothing isn’t to my taste, but they offer a range of kawaii style clothing, K-pop style and eco-friendly fashion. Their assortment of cute stationery, arts and crafts, and home products are adorable. If they are too cute for you they would make perfect gifts for children. Again, at very affordable prices.
What stands out about YesStyle is that they include fashion, cosmetics and skincare products for men too. Check out Gio Shin on Instagram – the Beauty Chief Specialist for Tom Ford, rocking masculine beauty.

3. Jolse
Jolse specialises in Korean beauty products and ships directly from South Korea. They currently offer over 170 brands to keep fans of Korean skincare products happy.
I don’t have any personal experience ordering from them, but overall online product reviews are positive. Reviews on shipping times seem to be very mixed with a general trend that they take longer to ship than Stylevana and YesStyle.

Summary
All three online stores offer daily discounts, coupons and promotions. You can join Stylevana’s Premier Club or YesStyle’s Elite Club for further shopping benefits. They also have rewards for friends and student programs.
Shipping worldwide means that delivery times and costs will inevitably vary. My advice is to order in advance, but it’s definitely worth the wait!
